Which format should I chose to send email attachements?

  • Documents are better sent as PDF files

    • ... because doc (Word) files could be infected by viruses and a lot of users ignore them or open them unwillingly.

  • Photos should be sent as jpeg or gif files and optimized for screen resolution. Otherwise they use too much storage space.
